Random Act of Christmas, Day 6: Fear Not

Scripture
Psalm 27:1 (TNIV)
The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold
of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:4 (TNIV)
One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I
seek: that I may dwell in the house of the
LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the
beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his
temple.
Psalm 27:13–14 (TNIV)
I remain confident of this: I will see the good-
ness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait
for the LORD; be strong and take heart and
wait for the LORD.

Prayer
Strong Lord,
We confess that we live in an atmosphere of
fear – sometimes we fear the past, sometimes
the present, sometimes the future. We know
that our fear mainly comes from not knowing
how to properly wait for You. Give us the
strength to wait and hope for the good things
You have in store for us.

Action
Do something kind for someone who’s recently
experienced a major loss, illness or fear in the
past year.
